Aug 25, 2015. I would like to start by thanking Maggie Beyeler of Magpie Pottery for inspiring me to get this site going again. She is a very talented, beautiful potter as well as a remarkable woman who has opened herself up and shared much of her personal struggles on her own blog site. It is, in part, because of her & her courage to show herself that I decided to finally make this site a reality. I actually created this site, mostly for myself, about 10 years ago. About 8 years ago, I got a professional involved yet still did nothing with it. Finally, I enlisted the help of another talented friend, Ann Hackett of AJH Graphic Design, to help me revamp the site & make it usable again.
Back in February, it had been three years since I last played with this site. Lots happened which kept me away. Mostly, lack of motivation. But, some good things have happened along the way, too, which is what brought me back. In February, I did a major overhaul of the site then hit a stumbling block. It’s only taken 6 months to get past the technical issue then my own mental block. There is much I need to update & work on still. It won’t happen all at once so bear with me if things seem out of date, abandoned or technically not working. I will get there. In the meantime, it feels good to be back (again).
To get the embedded blog photos to enlarge do the following. Click on the photo, it will pull up the photo alone on a page, when it is fully loaded click it again and it will get much larger. There are a few exceptions you will come across but just ignore those.
I hope you find something you like. Enjoy the browse and thank you for stopping by.
Technology adds nothing to art. Two thousand years ago, I could tell you a story, and at any point during the story I could stop, and ask, Now do you want the hero to be kidnapped, or not? But that would, of course, have ruined the story. Part of the experience of being entertained is sitting back and plugging into someone else’s vision.
